*laughs* The ending can go either way, as far as I'm concerned. At first I had Sephiroth's reaction to that non sequitur comment written out, but then I decided that it's more fun to let the reader imagine it themselves. >P

I'm starting to become rather proud of my Hojo muse, because he seems to do a very good job of being creepy and scientific and just, well, Hojo.
